HISTORY

Our founder and President, Fred Gunther, established the first Grand Sport Auto Body Center in West Chester, PA in 1982. Today there are eight collision centers, six Chester County and two in Montgomery County. The six Chester County are located in West Chester, Downingtown, Exton, Parkesburg and Eagle. The Montgomery County locations are Collegeville and Skippack. No matter which location you select, the only difference will be the location. At each repair center, you will experience the same high quality repairs and superior customer service. They are all modern, well equipped, state-of-the-art facilities, staffed with the most talented professionals in the industry.

Our Technicians

We recruit and hire the very best and most qualified people in the industry. Because the styles and designs of cars change annually and new materials and technology replace old, education and training is ongoing for our technicians. They have all achieved the industry’s I-CAR and ASE certifications. All of our painters are also I-CAR certified and receive ongoing training and certification from Dupont™ in all areas of paint preparation and applications.

Our Customer Support Teams

Our staff of customer service specialists, managers and estimators, who make-up our Customer Support Teams, must take part in ongoing industry and personal development training. These team members are given latitude to solve issues while always considering the customer’s best interest; therefore, every solution must benefit our valued customers.

Our Commitment To The Communities We Service

As a business with locations throughout the region, we are committed to making a positive impact on those communities. With this as our goal, we have developed the GSA Community Foundation, which is directly funded and managed by the company and administered by a panel of our own employees. The benefactors of this fund range from youth organizations to varied social service agencies throughout the area. In addition to this funding, we also support and encourage our employees to personally become involved in their communities.

Customer Support Services

All of our repair centers are staffed with well-trained teams of customer service specialists. Each of these team members is committed to offering our customers the very best support possible. They work with our customers to schedule a convenient time for an estimate. Once the estimate is complete, the repair process and the estimate is reviewed with the customer. The parts are ordered, the vehicle is scheduled for repair, and if a rental car is needed, those arrangements are made. To be certain that the repair process is as hassle free as possible for our customers, the service specialist will work with the insurance company during every phase of the repair. This support team will consistently keep customers updated on the progress of their repairs and continue to be available to them for any questions or concerns.

Because customer satisfaction is so important to us, we ask each customer to evaluate our services after each repair. Just to be sure that we don’t miss any opportunity to improve, we employ the services of an outside research firm to make random calls to our customers and to report those findings back to us. If issues or concerns do arise, we take action to correct them and incorporate the solutions into our weekly training meetings. We work hard at making sure that each of our customers receive the very finest collision repairs and customer support services possible.

State-Of-The-Art Repair Centers

All of our facilities are modern collision repair centers and are well furnished with the industry’s most up-to-date and effective equipment. Each center is equipped with state-of-the-art frame rack systems, computerized alignment equipment, efficient well-ventilated spray booths, prep stations and in and outdoors wash, clean and detail stations. To be sure that the highest quality repairs are performed in each center, we use the finest materials and parts on the market.

To return each vehicle to a showroom appearance, our paint department utilizes the world’s most advanced equipment and materials available today. Each of our repair centers use several new unique systems developed by Dupont.™ The VINdicator™ enables us to provide superior dead-on color matching, while the ChromaVision™; a performance coating’s colorimeter, pinpoints the exact formula for each vehicle.

Complimenting both of these is the Dupont X-Pert Paint Mixing system, which is the industry’s first computerized paint mixing equipment of its kind, in the world. This matching and mixing capability enables our painters to create a seamless appearance to the completed repair.

Mobile Auto Glass Services

Whether at our customers’ home or workplace, our fully equipped mobile units give us the ability to service all of their auto glass needs. From the smallest chip to a complete windshield replacement, our installers are experts in the field of auto glass repairs. This team of professionals is ready and very able to perform superior services at any one of our six, easy to reach locations. Towing Services

Our towing service is available 24 hours a day; 7 days a week by calling our toll free Hot Line. The dispatcher will efficiently evaluate the kind of towing service and any other support that you may need, accurately record all necessary information and make all of the arrangements to expedite your service. A driver will be dispatched who will expertly prepare the vehicle for towing, position it on the truck and secure it for transport. Each of our customer oriented drivers are experienced and well trained in all facets of towing and safety procedures.

Included in our fleet of tow trucks are both wheel lift and flatbed units. Our services are prompt and dependable and are AAA approved and accepted.

Car Rental Services

For the benefit of our customers, we have developed an agreement with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. This agreement enables us to provide a convenient service to our customers who will need a rental car after dropping their vehicle off at one of our locations for repairs. Through these prearrangements, a rental car will be waiting for them or, if necessary, it will be delivered to their home or office.

To save the customer time and trouble, we make all of the arrangements for a rental car. An Enterprise representative will be waiting at our facility for the customer with most of the necessary paperwork completed. With this prearranged planning, our customers don’t have to take the time or go to the trouble of calling and arranging for a rental to be delivered.
